Water table is continuously is getting lower and deeper. In big cities shortage of potable water is reality. Our hydro pumps are unable to suck clean & safe drinking water. Culture of direct drinking from tap is a memory now. Filter plants for drinking waters in cities are daily need of routine now. And many areas due to lack of filter plants are forced to buy water. Water was a free commodity and blessing for us. It's our mismanagement and lavish wastage of this gift of God that had put us in such grave situation. Karachi economic hub of Pakistan, Lahore,a Sialkot and Gujranwala industrialization polluted water with dangerous level of arsenic and lead which made it unsafe to drink. Villages and inner Sindh condition is well known to us. An inspiring picture of German ambassador to Pakistan once gave a strong message when he was washing his car with a bucket of water.
